Social Media Pages
From Andrew T. Austin, Director of The Association for IEMT Practitioners. 29th September 2021
As of 1st September 2021, neither Andrew T. Austin nor The Association for IEMT Practitioners endorses or supports any social media pages, groups, or forums.
Notice was sent out to all practitioners and trainers on 21st February 2021 advising all admins and moderators of this change. See: https://integraleyemovementtherapy.com/forthcoming-change-to-social-media-policy-of-the-association-for-iemt-practitioners/
Regretfully It appears that there are a number of social media pages that are failing to adhere to this change in policy and so this is a final reminder to all admins and moderators to make the changes immediately. Whilst I'd like to think this is just an oversight, I continue to receive complaints about the conduct of several members on social media who appear to continue to post as representatives of either myself or of The Association for IEMT Practitioners. They do this in order to self-promote to the detriment of The Association.
From the 1st of November, any individual failing to adhere to this request will risk legal action to enforce the complete removal of the page/group/forum and will be liable for all costs associated with this action.
Please note, that as of yesterday, relevant cease and desist notices have been drafted by a law firm and no further requests or warnings will be issued.

It is so dad that it has come to this for our association. I am also secretly pleased, keeping quality and ethics high, is important.
Also, thank you for everything you do
🙂
Thank you Andy.
