Choosing an IEMT practitioner
Directory profiles are supplied and maintained by individual practitioners. Before arranging a session, contact the practitioner directly and ask about their IEMT training, relevant experience, professional background and whether they work with the issue you wish to address.
- Discuss fees, session format, confidentiality, cancellation terms and any practical arrangements before booking.
- Ask how the practitioner works within their training, competence and professional scope.
- Use the Voluntary Register when you want to check practitioners who have chosen to appear on that additional public record.
Important: IEMT does not replace emergency care, medical assessment or specialist psychiatric care where these are required. If you are uncertain whether IEMT is appropriate, discuss this with the practitioner and your relevant healthcare professional before proceeding.

Before arranging a session
Ask about the practitioner’s training, experience, scope of practice, fees, confidentiality and cancellation arrangements. The Association directory supports discovery, but the practitioner remains responsible for the professional service they provide.
