IEMT Practitioner CPD Certification

The IEMT Practitioner training is now certified by the CPD Certification Service. At present CPD only covers the European territories.

It should be noted that the Advanced Training does not carry CPD and I have no plans to change this.  This is primarily due to the diversity of content taught by the trainers of the advanced material.

All IEMT trainers can use the CPD logo in their advertising and all trainees can receive an additional CPD certificate upon the completion of their case studies and membership of the Association.

You can enter their details on this page for this certificate to be sent: https://cpduk.co.uk/request-cpd-certificate

This is excellent for IEMT and has the potential to increase much-needed recognition by professionals and a broader audience. Thank you for making it happen.

Many thanks for this. Presumably this is only for UK courses? Guess it won’t apply elsewhere? The US calls their CPD, CEU so you may have to go through this all again for the US trainings but at least all the documentation will be in place.

Currently it covers all EU countries, but I don’t know what Brexit will do to this. I’ll begin the US accreditation as soon as I’m back from Japan, but what I’ll need to do is to expand the minute-by-minute agenda, which I’ll be assigning out to people to do – basically if everyone can do just one aspect, that will lessen my workload considerably.

Then we will need to sort out a standardised manual – gonna keep it simple, basically what is the minimum that must be included, and then anything additional that trainers want to add is entirely up to them to allow for flexibility regarding additional content, etc. Realistically though looking at the manuals people have sent me, everyone has it covered already, its just the wording for the subheadings etc as mentioned on another one of these pages that we need to formalise.
