Date(s) - 07/07/2020
6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

In this webinar, we will review how to deal with unexpected events in the treatment room and in training/workshop environments. If you see enough clients over a long enough period, statistically speaking a medical emergency may arise, such as acute chest pain, epileptic seizure or psychiatric emergencies.

In this webinar, Andrew T. Austin will give some real-life examples of what can happen, how to deal with them effectively and appropriately and how to cope with the aftermath.

We will also cover:

  • how to minimise the risk of such emergencies arising
  • your legal responsibilities
  • common issues and misconceptions

We will also look at the common mistakes made by practitioners and how to avoid these.

Presented by IEMT developer, Andrew T. Austin.
